Three people from Moray attended the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey: Douglas Ross, MP for Moray and Leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party, Major General Seymour Monro, Lord- Lieutenant of Moray, and Mary Nelson BEM, leading volunteer for Moray Home Start.
The Most Rev Mark Strange , Bishop of Moray, Caithness and Ross, played a special part in the Ceremony presenting the Sceptre to The King.
All four later attended the special Service of Celebration following the Coronation held at St Laurence Church, Forres on Sunday 14th May.
