On 16th June, the Lord-Lieutenant , accompanied by Mrs Angela Monro, Mrs Sue Finnegan, DL, and Brigadier Timothy Finnegan, visited 39 Engineer Regiment at Kinloss Barracks.

They were briefed on operations over the past year in Rumania, Cyprus, Belize and Mali. They also learned of the Regiment’s significant contribution to test and trace activities and vaccination centres during the pandemic – and especially in Liverpool. Shortly  much of the Regiment will be going to Kenya to train.

The Lord-Lieutenant also presented some honours and awards.
