On Canada Day there was a small ceremony at the War Memorial at Dalachy which was a WW2 airfield where many Royal Canadian Air Force personnel were based. Attended by Air Commodore Al Monkman, CBE,DL , Cllr Marc Macrae and Sqn Ldr Douggie Potter RAF representing RAF Lossiemouth.
