St Valery 80th Anniversary Commemorations around the country. Pipers play ‘ Heroes of St Valery’ around the Highlands. The Lord-Lieutenant , Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Council Convenor and CEO, and Pipe Major of Elgin City PB parade on the Plain Stones in Elgin. Ceremonies at Forres War Memorial and at the house of Donald Smith in Forres one of only 2 surviving veterans of the battle.
