On Friday 26th September, Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Lucy Mackenzie, attended the retirement party of Moray’s Senior Registrar, Liz Lambie, after 27 years in the role. During that time Liz has registered 3752 births and officiated at 534 weddings, including the weddings of both her daughters! All her family, including 5 grandchildren, were there to surprise Liz.
Civic Leader John Cowe read out a poem written for Liz, and she was presented with a card and some beautiful flowers.
